The Jeep Trailcat Concept is No Mewling Kitten

Without fail, the Jeep Moab Easter Safari never fails to draw a crowd. An event to celebrate the off-road capability of America's favorite lineup of crossovers and SUVs, it's always kicked off by the launch of several prototypes. This year, the Jeep brand gave us quite the treat: the Trailcat Concept.

Based off the beloved Wrangler, the Trailcat rides on 39.5 inch wheels, and has had its wheel base stretched by 12 inches while its windshield has been shrunk by 2 inches to give it a more aerodynamic look. There's a good reason for that, as the Trailcat carries the supercharged V8 as the Dodge SRT Hellcats. With 707 horsepower in play, this prototype is no mewling kitten, and we'd relish the opportunity to see it in action.

Driving any one of our new Jeep models is an experienced that shouldn't be missed. If you're shopping for a new CUV or SUV this year, we'd like to invite you down to our Charlotte, NC location to try your hand at the many trims of vehicles we have on our lot.
